Cannabis use disorders often co-occur with a number of mental disorders and increase risk for several somatic problems and disorders. Based on data from the Collaborative Study on Genetics in Alcoholism (COGA) and meta-analyses, risk for subsequent physical problems and comorbid mental disorders are presented, rates of Independent and induced psychiatric diseases and their correlates are discussed.
