Bernd Werse, Ph.D., Senior researcher at the Centre for Drug Research at Goethe University in Frankfurt, since 2002. Numerous social scientific drug-related research projects, e.g. the local drug monitoring system „MoSyD“, several projects on new psychoactive substances (NPS), small-scale drug dealing, cannabis cultivation etc. Co-editor of the German Alternative Report on Drugs and Addiction.
Buying drugs on the „Darknet“ and the „Clearnet“ – Results on supply and demand in online drug markets from a German-Austrian research project
In addition to some basic findings of the qualitative and quantitative research in the frame of the German-Austrian project consortium „Drug dealing and organised crime”, we present recommendations derived from these results, directed to law enforcement, (local) policies, jurisdiction and social work. We invite the audience to discuss these consequences in the light of the general debate on drug policy.
